The JIIS is researching, monitoring and evaluating its progress of the Marom Plan, a government commissioned project for the economic development of Jerusalem that is being implemented by the Jerusalem Development Authority.
The plan’s primary areas of activity are the following:
-Strengthening Jerusalem as a tourist city;
-Strengthening Jerusalem as a center of research, development and industry in the field of biotechnology;
-Ensuring Jerusalem's role as a leading academic city and as an attractive option for students from both Israel and abroad;
-Additional complementary measures aimed at economic development.
