Introduction
In this issue of JIIS Bulletin we highlight our latest policy paper, on Jewish Settlement in Arab quarters of in East Jerusalem. Specifically, the paper analyzes the implications of Jewish settlement in the heart of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood – and finds that even though it may be legal it may not be in Israel's strategic interests. We also take a look at what is happening on the west of the city: downtown Jerusalem has been undergoing a massive regeneration process for years now – but it looks like finally we will be seeing some of the results of the city center renewal project that has stopped us even from being able to cross the road at times! JIIS has been documenting the process. Also, we take a glance at our Christians in the Jewish State project; and note our Upcoming Events.
