Yair is a researcher at the Jerusalem Institute, specializing in planning, data analysis and GIS mapping. In the Institute he is involved in research projects such as The Statistical Yearbook of Jerusalem
, master plan for welfare buildings in Jerusalem, “Marom
” growth plan evaluation, and Yearbook for the Haredi Population. Yair holds a B.Arch degree in architecture from Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, and an M.A in geography and urban planning from the Hebrew University. He volunteers in the Rachel Elyashar community garden, in The Public Knowledge Workshop, in “Hitorerut” (awakening in Jerusalem), in the Gonenim community council, and recently participated in “Beita
” - an artist project linking art, city and society issues.
